Mentoring Walk 2024
Atreyee Borooah Thekedath, Founder of Web .com India and member of the Vital Voices Global Leadership Network, recently led the 9th Vital Voices Global Mentoring Walk in Assam, India. The event saw 100 young women from Downtown University and Royal Global University as mentees, alongside nearly 30 respected senior women leaders as mentors.
Held simultaneously in over 60 countries, the Mentoring Walk in the vibrant city of Guwahati stands as a powerful opportunity to highlight women’s leadership and promote solidarity and support among women from various backgrounds.
This year, Shazia Ilmi, Spokesperson of the BJP, delivered the keynote address, sharing her journey of breaking free from the confines of a conservative Muslim family to carve out her identity.
Panelists Loya Agarwala, a Counselor, focused on Mental Wellbeing, while Yukti, a Chartered Financial Analyst, addressed the Basics of Investing.
